ABOUT THIS SERVICE
One of Ayurveda’s oldest, yet rarest, therapies in Ayurveda is called Ayurvedic Acupuncture. It is the same as Chinese Acupuncture where the fine needles are used to assist the body in achieving balance and treat or prevent illnesses.
Ayurveda, on the other hand, requires the use of the minimum amount of needles while having greater effectiveness. This is based on the same principle as Taoist style Acupuncture.
This treatment includes light bodywork, with champissage (i.e. head massage), or Pada Abhyanga, or Reflexology. The needles are then placed in the appropriate Marma points to help correct the body’s imbalance.
